Sharing of five measures to improve the working efficiency of welding robots

2022-10-18

1. Perform teaching operations: Before using the welding robot for active welding, the operator must teach the trajectory of the welding torch of the welding robot and set the welding conditions. Due to teaching reasons, the robot does not weld multiple products produced for a small number of people.

2. Ensure the accuracy of the workpiece: The robot has no eyes and can only repeat the same action. Its trajectory accuracy is 0.1 mm. Repeat the same action with this accuracy. When the welding deviation is greater than the radius of the welding wire, the welding may not be good, so the accuracy of the workpiece should be kept within the radius of the welding wire.

3. The setting of welding conditions depends on the technical level of the teaching operator: During teaching, the operator must input welding conditions such as the welding program, the posture and angle of the welding torch, current, voltage, and speed. The teaching operator should have a comprehensive grasp of welding knowledge and welding skills.

4. Pay full attention to protective measures: The welding robot is a high - speed moving device. Personnel are not allowed to approach during the operation of the device. Operators must receive special labor education; otherwise, operation is prohibited. Especially when using a six - axis robot, extra attention must be paid. If these factors are not considered during the operation and the operation is carried out blindly, it may be due to incorrect operation methods, which will have a certain impact on the functions of welding and operation. This is a problem that users should pay attention to before use.

5. Before active operation, please confirm the following items: (1) Is there anyone inside the gate? (2) Is there a correct program number to run? (3) Is the position of the teaching box appropriate? (4) Is the equipment in a normal movement position? (5) Are there any objects or other items within the movement range of the equipment? (6) When operating the equipment (emergency stop, etc.), can the robot stop urgently? (7) Is the movement speed of the equipment (whether it is over - speeding, etc.) appropriate? (8) Can the emergency stop button be pressed at any time? (9) If welding is required, is the protective mask for welding prepared before welding? (10) If there is an abnormality, please press the emergency stop button immediately; stop standing within the gate and the operation range of the robot; do not put your hands or objects into the gap of the gate.

Although the welding robot can improve work efficiency, it is also a dangerous device. Therefore, in order to prevent accidents, in addition to paying attention to the surrounding environment, protective measures should also be taken to prevent accidents.
